I wonder if they were at Brookings what they would add to the agenda: with the 2004 presidential campaign getting underway, a panel of experts will gather—on the second anniversary of an event that had a profound effect on Americans' daily lives and U.S. policy—to examine what lies ahead for the United States. Issues to be discussed include budget and tax policies, the future of military policy and defense budgeting, health care and Medicare reform, security and civil liberties, U.S. foreign policy, and welfare reform. and if you could nominate one other expert to represent the diversity of the panel whom would you add to: Introduction: Strobe Talbott, President, The Brookings Institution Moderator: Isabel V.
