Reported by Australian blogger Markoos, The Simpsomaker is a little Flash program that allows you to create your own Simpsons character. A few weeks ago we looked at Trekkies doing their own episodes of Star Trek based on the original timeline—even grabbing original screenwriter D. C. Fontana to contribute. This isn’t quite to the same extent (judging by Flickr a lot of folks know of it), but it is fun to see the Simpsons techniques available to all—who will further evangelize the brand. (Just when the shows were getting less funny, though I have yet to see the Ricky Gervais-penned episode.
